Nova Class: The Book of Philippians
What Does Lasting Joy Look Like?
Throughout our lives, we are sure to experience highs and lows. So, how do we remain content with whatever life throws our way? This study of The Book of Philippians will demonstrate that being with Jesus and belonging to his church fuels our joy and contentment in any situation. Join in and learn the secret to lasting joy.
Nova Class: The Book of 2 Corinthians -- Beginning August 24th
Rethinking Authentic Christianity
Authentic Christianity has never been about how put together we seem to be. It’s always been about how God works powerfully through our shortcomings to accomplish his purposes for us.
So, what does a successful life look like in the kingdom of God? This study of 2 Corinthians shows us how opening ourselves up in genuine relationships with others invites the power of Jesus to shine through our weaknesses. We don’t have to clean up our weaknesses before God and others—we invite them in.
Softball
Every summer, Nova participates in a South Bay church softball league and we want you to play with us! All skill levels are welcome and you must be 14 years old or older to play. For more information or to sign up, contact Jeff Hester at jhester24@yahoo.com
Serving in the Pre-K Ministry
We are looking for some more servant leaders to serve in our Sunday morning Pre-K ministry. You will serve families by providing a safe and warm space where parents can drop of their children while also teaching them about God. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, please fill out the "Serving at Nova" page HERE.
